PUNCAK - Demonstrating compassion and a strong commitment to the welfare of local communities, the Raider Infantry Battalion 323/Buaya Putih Kostrad, under the Indonesian Armed Forces Operational Command HABEMA, organized a heartwarming initiative in Puncak Regency, Papua Tengah Province. On Thursday, December 26, 2024, Soldiers stationed at the Eromaga Post, led by First Lieutenant Anggun, distributed free packages of basic necessities to residents of Eromaga Village, Omukia District.
The initiative is part of a broader effort to support the Indonesian Government's program to accelerate regional development in Papua. Commander of the 323 Task Forces, Lieutenant Colonel Tri Wiratno, emphasized the importance of addressing the fundamental needs of communities in the area. "Our mission goes beyond security. It is about extending our support and building a bridge of trust and love with the people we serve, " he stated.
A Gesture of Care and Community Connection
During a routine interaction with visiting residents at the Eromaga Post, the Soldiers shared their love and solidarity by distributing free packages of basic necessities. The gesture was met with joy and gratitude from the community. Rio Labene, one of the recipients, expressed his appreciation, saying, "Thank you, Commander 323. God bless you."
